The Out Mic Directory
A free LGBTQIA+ podcast directory of every podcast host we could verify as publicly out — across every genre, at every audience size, in every country where being out in public is safe. Not a ranking. A way for queer podcasters to find each other.

Why this exists
Queer podcast hosts are everywhere and invisible to each other.
The comedy ones know the comedy ones. The queer-culture shows know the queer-culture shows. But the out lesbian hosting a true crime show has no idea the out trans woman hosting a fitness show exists, and neither of them has heard of the gay guy running a retirement-planning podcast.
Existing "best LGBTQ podcasts" lists don't fix this. They rank shows about being queer, and they stop at fifteen. This directory does the opposite: it lists the host, not the show's subject matter, and it doesn't stop.
What makes the list
A source. A statement. A name in the index.
A host qualifies on their own statement, their own bio, their show's own description, or reputable press treating them as openly out. Never on rumor or assumption. Every entry links to its source, so anyone can check the work — or correct it.
Each listing is checked before it is published.
The ask
Five hundred names is a start, not a census.
The hosts hardest to find are exactly the ones this is for: no press coverage, no network, no publicist. If you host a show — or you listen to one — add the name.
